THEO DINKLO, PHD
Theo Dinklo joined Synerkine Pharma in April 2019 as Director of Translational Research. He is responsible for the preclinical characterization and development of Synerkine Pharma’s pipeline projects.
Prior to joining Synerkine Pharma, Theo gained 15 years of experience in drug discovery and preclinical safety at Janssen Pharmaceuticals and Roche. He has a background in electrophysiology and implemented these techniques in drug discovery screening. As Principal Scientist in Safety Pharmacology at Roche, he was responsible for the early CNS safety screening and regulatory studies for entry into human trials, as well as CNS-related concerns during preclinical drug development. With his knowledge of GLP and drug abuse liability assessment, he further supported several late-stage projects passing this regulatory hurdle.
Theo was trained as a biologist at the Radboud University in Nijmegen and holds a PhD in Life Sciences from the University of Groningen.
